Sanjiva has been involved with open source for many years and is an active member of the Apache Software Foundation. He was the original creator of Apache SOAP and has been part of Apache Axis, Apache Axis2 and most Apache Web services projects. He founded WSO2 after having spent nearly 8 years in IBM Research, where he was one of the founders of the Web services platform. During that time, he co-authored many Web services specifications including WSDL, BPEL4WS, WS-Addressing, WS-RF and WS-Eventing.

Isabelle brings to her role nearly 20 years of technology, consulting, and management experience in Java, application development, middleware and service-oriented architecture. She strongly believes that successful product management requires a great understanding of our customers and the problems they hope to resolve, as well as a strong understanding of the products themselves. Hence, Isabelle regularly participates in WSO2 QuickStart programs and services engagements.
Joe earned a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Michigan. Since then he has been at the University of Texas where he has built infrastructure software in various contexts. At TACC, he is a member of the Advanced Computing Interfaces group where he works on the Agave “science as a service” platform for enabling next generation science gateways. He has extensive experience building web services and development platforms for a wide variety of clients and applications.

Lakmal is Director of Cloud Architecture at WSO2. Also taking on the role of Vice President of Apache Stratos, Lakmal focuses on the development of WSO2 Private PaaS, which is built on top of the Apache Stratos project.
In 2005, Lakmal co-founded the thinkCube, the pioneers in developing the next generation of Collaborative Cloud Computing products that are tailored towards Telecom operators. He oversaw the overall engineering process, giving special attention to scalability and service delivery of thinkCube solutions. Prior to co-founding thinkCube, Lakmal spent four years at ITABS, a company that specialized in Linux based server deployments that came with a custom easy-to-use server management interface. He has also presented at numerous events, including ApacheCon, CloudOpen, QCon, JaxLondon, Cloudstack Collaboration Conference, WSO2Con and many tech meetups.

Milan Joshi, works as a Technical Lead in Barclays Technology Center in India. He works across SOAP/REST based web service developments also leveraging the usage of WSO2 products such as ESB, BAM and CEP as and when required.
Nuwan works closely with WSO2 customers on enterprise solutions. His experience spans across multiple verticals such as e-government, education, e-commerce and healthcare. Prior joining the WSO2 solutions architecture team Nuwan worked as a product lead in WSO2 engineering team and has provided technical leadership for products such as WSO2 User Engagement Server (UES), WSO2 Enterprise Store (ES) and Jaggeryjs framework. Nuwan has also contributed to projects such as API Manager and Carbon within WSO2 and to the Apache Web Services and Shindig projects in the Apache Software Foundation.
In 2007 and 2008, Nuwan was involved in research and development for the European Union’s Information Society Technologies SOA and mobile computing projects. He is also a member of the British Computer Society.
Nuwan’s main area of focus is on architectural, research, and development aspects of WSO2 API Manager. He has also been involved in many customer engagements where he has assisted people in developing their solutions architecture. Prior to joining WSO2, he worked at Informatics International Limited as a senior software engineer.
Peter is currently Global Lead for Educational Technology Innovation at NYU. He has held roles of CIO, CTO, PMO Director, Program Director for NYU and member schools. Prior to NYU, worked in the financial services industry leading technology initiatives for the American and New York Stock Exchanges. He has consulted for the City of NY teaching project management to a broad group of managers in City government. He developed an experimental diagnostic system for a Pediatric Neurologist at North Shore University Hospital capturing digital Cognitive Evoked Potentials. Peter started his career in the Defense world developing Navy Avionics diagnostic and information systems for various platforms including the F18.
Peter holds a Doctorate in Computer Science, a Masters of Science in Management and Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is PMI PMP certified and has taught graduate and undergraduate management classes as well as PMP certification classes. Peter also has an agile process Scrum Master certification.
Prior to Prabath’s current role, he chaired the Management Committee of Integration Technologies.
